The Cabin was a perfect place for our friend group to stay while visiting Golden. The deck and outdoor hot tub (with excellent sunset views) were a great place to relax after a hard day playing in the mountains. Great spot!

One of the coolest places we have ever stayed. Everything was exactly as advertised. The cabin itself is one of the coolest buildings I’ve ever stayed in, it was perfectly done and provided everything that we needed to ski kicking horse and Roger’s for a week. Will 100% be coming back.

We had an excellent stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. Everything was thoughtfully set up and it made for a really relaxing visit. Communication with Evan was smooth and easy from start to finish, and check-in was straightforward.
We especially loved the indoor fireplace and the outdoor fireplace, which made the stay feel extra cozy. The hot tub was a highlight as well—such a fantastic view while soaking and unwinding.
You can tell the host really cares about providing a great experience for guests. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

This cabin is brand new and equipped with every modern comfort you could need. The views from the hot tub are unbeatable, and the walk-in shower is absolutely luxurious. It’s a great spot to unplug and read a book, but also close enough to Golden to explore easily. The host, Evan, was exceptional. I expressed the desire to use the firepit and he dug it out from the snow the day before we arrived. <3
Highly Recommended: Clean, stylish, and peaceful. 10/10!

5/5 – Perfect Ski Getaway Cabin
We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin with an absolutely stunning view of Kicking Horse Mountain. The location made our ski vacation unforgettable—conditions were excellent all week, and it was the perfect home base after long days on the slopes.
The cabin itself was ideal for our group of three guys. It’s warm, inviting, with a small but functional kitchen that made cooking meals easy. Evenings were relaxing in the living room around the wood-burning fireplace, enjoying good food and great company.
Overall, this cabin exceeded our expectations. Comfortable, peaceful, and well situated for anyone looking to enjoy Kicking Horse skiing (15mins drive). Highly recommended—we’d definitely stay here again!

My family and I stayed at the cabin. The cabin honestly has the most beautiful view of the mountains, it was truly so special being able to watch the sunsets from the hot tub. Evan was also a great host, responsive and showed up to the cabin to make sure everything was in working order for us. I highly recommend this place, it was very clean and well situated near the town. We all loved it so much, thank you!

We stayed at Timberhaus with our close friends for a 4 day long weekend and had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful, with incredible views and a very central location, while still feeling incredibly private. The house was the perfect size for 4 adults. Evan was a wonderful host, always providing helpful information and reminders. The only thing we were left wanting was more time! We will be back to book again!

We used Evan's cabin as a basecamp for a week of ski touring on Roger's Pass. We really enjoyed the secluded location and the easy access to the highway. Finally the hot tub and the view from it were five star.

Evan's Airbnb is a delightful cabin with the cutest decor and phenomenal view of Kicking Horse Ski Resort. He was super responsive and proactive with messages about check-in and check-out. The cabin was spotless and really cozy! I'd recommend this to anyone traveling to or through Golden, B.C.
